Discount Roof Inc. is a family-owned, full-service roofing contractor rooted in over six decades of construction excellence right here in Valparaiso, IN.
Our story begins in 1961 when founder Burl Judy launched his construction career on the East Coast, painting at Yankee Stadium and along Pennsylvania Ave in Washington D.C. After relocating to Northwest Indiana in 1964, he built a thriving construction company and ultimately crafted over 40 custom log cabin homes across the region. In 1991, Burl’s son Douglas Judy carried the torch forward. With a career spanning over 10,000 roofing projects, Doug built an unmatched reputation with top manufacturers and suppliers nationwide. He and his wife JoAnna grew the business together, specializing in all exterior finishes across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
Today we are proud to say that the third generation of the Judy family has joined the business. Alec, Brittany, Cole, Jeremy, and Tori each hold key roles in sales, marketing, production, finance, and HR, and they are committed to upholding everything this family has worked so hard to build.
